ROCB A/P welcomed a delegation from the Korea Customs Service (KCS) led by Mr. Moon Ki Choi, the newly appointed Director of the International Investigation Division. Accompanied by Customs Attaché Ms. Hyojin Lee, Deputy Director Mr. Jun Hyung Kim, and Investigator Mr. Seung Jae Choi, the delegation met with Mr. Jun Tajima, Head of ROCB A/P, and Mr. Jaemin Cho, Program Manager, to discuss avenues for enhancing collaboration on customs capacity building.

Mr. Tajima extended a warm welcome to the KCS delegation and expressed appreciation for Korea Customs Service’s ongoing support, particularly in facilitating the WCO Drug Enforcement Experts Workshop. Mr. Moon Ki Choi reaffirmed KCS’s commitment to initiatives in the area of Customs enforcement and emphasized the importance of cooperation between KCS, ROCB A/P, and RILO A/P. He noted that this collaboration could serve as a model for best practices in drug enforcement, helping Asia-Pacific members improve detection capabilities and update enforcement strategies.

The meeting concluded with both parties reaffirming their dedication to strengthening cooperation and advancing capacity-building efforts across the region.
