The World Customs Organization (WCO) National Workshop on Single Window successfully concluded at the Thai Customs Department in Bangkok.

Mr. Jun Tajima, Head of the ROCB A/P, delivered opening remarks at the workshop. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of the Single Window environment in enhancing trade facilitation, reducing time and cost for traders, and strengthening coordination among cross-border regulatory agencies. He also expressed his appreciation to Thai Customs for their strong commitment to digital transformation and modernization.

As the Programme Manager for Southeast Asia, Mr. Mark Ho arranged a pre-workshop online preparatory meeting prior to the workshop. The meeting provided a valuable platform for Thai Customs and the invited experts to discuss the workshop agenda, expected outcomes, and specific areas of focus in depth.

Throughout the workshop, participants engaged actively in presentations, interactive discussions, and practical exercises covering key topics related to the establishment and enhancement of a national Single Window system in line with international standards and best practices.

At the closing session, Mr. Deokjoong Kim, CCF/Korea Operations Manager, delivered closing remarks. He commended the active participation of Thai Customs officials and expressed his hope that the workshop would lead to tangible outcomes and concrete follow-up actions that contribute to the successful implementation of Single Window in Thailand.
