At the invitation of the Director-General of Thai Customs Department, Mr. Norikazu Kuramoto, Head of the ROCB A/P and his colleagues attended the Opening Ceremony of New Building of Customs Academy. Mr. Kuramoto conveyed his warmest congratulation to Mr. Patchara Anuntasilpa, Director-General of Thai Customs Department on behalf of the WCO.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Mr. Patchara Anuntasilpa, Director-General of Thai Customs Department, expressed his intention to the Customs Academy with new building to be WCO Regional Training Center (RTC) in the Asia Pacific region in the near future which aims to contribute to enhance Customs officials' competency with the fully high-technology training equipment and facilities with accommodation in his opening remarks. In this occasion, many representatives from embassies and international organizations were invited to celebrate the ceremony.
